Any violation of the provisions of this article by any person is subject to administrative
fines as provided in chapter 24A of the Santa Barbara County Code. These remedies are not exclusive of any other remedies
available under other federal, state or local laws and it is within the discretion
of the administrative authority to seek cumulative remedies.
(B)
The county health officer or his designee may order the public water supply to any
premises or property to be discontinued upon finding by the county health officer
or his designee that the continuation of such supply may endanger the public health.
These may include but are not limited to:
(1)
When sewage is overflowing or being discharged on the ground surface, the director
of environmental health services may order the occupant or occupants thereof who contribute
to such overflow or discharge to abate the same forthwith.
(2)
If such occupant or occupants fail to abate such overflow or discharge as ordered,
the county health officer may order such occupant or occupants to vacate the premises
within twenty-four hours.
