Section 203.1 of the Uniform Housing Code (Appeals Board) is hereby deleted in its
entirety.
B.
Section 302 of the Uniform Housing Code (Fees) is hereby amended by deleting the text
in its entirety and replacing with the following:
Whenever work is required to be done under the provisions of this Code, a building,
plumbing, electrical, or mechanical permit may be required by the Building Official
prior to the commencement of work. Appropriate fees shall be assessed by the Building
Official pursuant to permit fee resolutions as adopted by the Board of Supervisors
from time to time. In the event that abatement proceedings must be initiated against
a property in order to gain compliance with the provisions of this Code, all costs
associated with the abatement shall be paid by the property owner pursuant to the
provisions of Section 10-1.15 of this Code.

Section 1001.2 of the Uniform Housing Code (Inadequate Sanitation) is hereby amended
by adding the following item:
