The following words and phrases, whenever used in this article X, shall have the meanings
defined in this section unless the context clearly requires otherwise:
(a)
"Business purposes" means conducting business as allowed in County Code chapter 9—Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, and shared mobility services or as allowed for outdoor
dining described herein.
(b)
"Shared mobility business" has the same meaning as defined in County Code subsection 9-1(f).
(c)
"Outdoor dining" means the use of a county road or sidewalk easement and/or county
road right-of-way for the sale or consumption of food or beverages in conjunction
with the operation of a food service establishment properly licensed for such service
under applicable law.
(d)
"Shared mobility device" or "SMD" has the same meaning as defined in County Code subsection 9-1(i).
