In the event of a violation of the provisions of this article, the property owner
of the parcel where the violation exists shall be given notice of such violation and
a reasonable time for its correction. In the event that all required corrections are
not completed in the time noted on the notice of violation, the property owner shall
be subject to administrative fines as provided in chapter 24A of the Santa Barbara County Code.
(2)
If the administrative authority performs an inspection after notice of violation has
been given and the violation has not been corrected, the property owner shall be subject
to a violation reinspection fee at a rate approved by the board of supervisors.
(B)
Conflicting Provisions.
(1)
If any of the provisions of this article conflict with any of the provisions of other
codes adopted by the County of Santa Barbara, the provisions of this code shall control
unless expressly stated to the contrary.
(2)
If any part of this article or its application is deemed invalid by a court of competent
jurisdiction, the board of supervisors intend that such invalidity will not affect
the effectiveness of the remaining provisions or applications and, to this end, the
provisions of this article are severable.
