§ 10-4.2. Amendments.

  • A.

    Sections 104 of the California Plumbing Code is deleted and replaced by sections 105 of the 2016 California Building Code as amended in Article I of this chapter.

    B.

    Section 106 of the California Plumbing Code is deleted and replaced by sections 10.1.12 to 10.1.16 of Article I of this chapter.

    C.

    Section 107 of the California Plumbing Code is deleted and replaced by sections 10.1.11 of Article I of this chapter.

    D.

    Section 401.0 of the California Plumbing Code is hereby amended by adding a new subsection 401.4 as follows:

    401.4 Commercial Car Washes. Commercial car wash facilities shall have water recycling systems approved by the Administrative Authority.

    E.

    A new footnote 8 is added to the table 422.1 of the California Plumbing Code, authorizes to read as follows:

     8. In accordance with Sections 1.8.7. and 301.2, the authority having jurisdiction may approve alternative design criteria when determining the minimum number of plumbing fixtures.

    F.

    Appendix D (Sizing Storm-water Drainage Systems) of the California Plumbing Code is hereby adopted in its entirety.

    G.

    Appendix H (Private Sewage Disposal Systems) of the California Plumbing Code is hereby adopted in its entirety until such time that it is replaced by the County of Santa Barbara individual sewage disposal system installation standards as adopted by, and amended from time to time by, the board of supervisors. It shall be the responsibility of the director of environmental health to enforce the provisions of this appendix as they pertain to private sewage disposal systems and liquid waste.
